This morning the news said that it will be 80 degrees today! September 29, and 80 degrees? Well, they were pretty right on, as I’m wearing capris and a t-shirt, flipflops, and I have all the windows open. 
School this morning went well, although we aren’t done, we did stop for the weather. D1 got 100% on his spelling test (2nd 1/2 of List C in WISE Guide), and completed two review pages in his Math U See Alpha. We still have to finish up our Who Took The Farmer’s Hat? lapbook, and he will copy the first page of text from the book into his journal. Otherwise, we’re done. My youngest son has a Dr. Appt. this afternoon, so I’m not sure exactly what we’ll get finished. Our first lapbook is turning out okay, I guess. Since LLATL has their own lessons, adding the lapbook has been a bit weird, and I’m so new to LLATL that THAT is weird too! LOL
We are skipping all of the phonics and handwriting lessons in the LLATL since D1 can already read. We are doing the grammar portions, and all of the reading/literature lessons. So far we both like it. I will post pictures of the lapbook when we’re done with that! It’s just SO nice outside…. I think we’ll eat lunch on the patio.
